The City of St. Catharines and the Toronto Business Development Centre (TBDC) are inviting our local partners to learn about the recently launched Entrepreneur Success Initiative (ESI) at our ESI Business Forum June 6 at 10:30 a.m.
The Entrepreneur Success Initiative is a two-year initiative of the Ontario Government, administered by TBDC, to help prospective immigrant entrepreneurs looking to build a new life in Canada navigate the immigration application process and apply to the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) Entrepreneur Stream.
OINP is the government of Ontario’s immigration program and the Entrepreneur Stream is for individuals with high human capital seeking to implement a new business idea or buy an existing business in Ontario. It targets entrepreneurial business owners, fosters innovation and productivity, promotes the development of new, globally competitive services and products, and leverages global diasporas to access new markets.
The ESI also helps qualified international entrepreneurs develop and submit an expression of interest to the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) for permanent residence through the OINP Entrepreneurship Stream.
A key service of the ESI is the identification of potential business opportunities in local communities for international entrepreneurs. To that end, the ESI Business Forum will explain how the ESI can help bring new talent and business investment to our community. Have questions about the forum?
